Deenabandu Co-Operative Society General Body Meeting cum Charity Day Back
Deenabandu Co-operative society general body meeting was held on 15 - 09 - 2013. The meeting was began with prayer by invoking God’s presence. Mrs. Seethamma the secretary of Deenabandu co-operative society presented the annual report to the gathering. Sr. Alice Chacko the president of the society addressed the assembly. She exhorted the women to have courage to go out and work instead of depending on their husbands. As women, we must acquire some good qualities and have courage to fight against victims regarding sexual harassment, dowry, abortion etc.

Since people find difficult to come once again to our centre we kept the charity drive on the same day, with lot of games, selling eatables. Every year we used to collect money to help the poor by selling the raffle but this year we conducted in different way by selling Biriany. The village SHG members generously contributed for the success of the day. Under the guidance of Sr. Sumi Joseph all the FIDES staff worked hard to make this day a memorable one.
